Nampak is Africa’s leading diversified packaging manufacturer and has been listed on the JSE Limited (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) since 1969. Nampak operates from 19 sites in South Africa, contributing approximately 67% to group revenue, and 14 sites in the rest of Africa, contributing 33% to group revenue.

Nampak Learnership is the graduate development programme that offers young people an opportunity to gain experience in their chosen field while earning a market-related salary and package. Over 240 graduates have completed our two-year programme since 2001. Of these graduates, 12 came from Nampak partner schools and were awarded Nampak bursaries. Over the years, we have invested more than R20 million into the process of accelerating the development of its company’s future leadership and meeting our transformation targets.

Due to the highly competitive nature of the programme, positions are limited. As a requirement, the minimum qualification is a degree in accounting/finance, engineering, human resources, information technology/business systems, logistics/supply chain, sales and marketing or production/manufacturing.

Nampak Learnership Requirements.

To be an eligible candidate to join Nampak Learning tam there is some considerations to take into account :

Matric grade 12/N4 Certificate/ any equivalent technical qualification achieved a 45% GPA in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science subjects.
Relevant Degree/ Diploma qualification added advantage
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and advanced coaching skills
Ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills
Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment
Must have a driver’s license, be willing to travel
Have good communication skills
Have a logical approach to problem-solving and have sound fault-finding abilities
