Murray and Roberts Learnership is 12 months learning programme that focuses on skills development. The Focus area will be on civil; mechanical, industrial, electrical and mining), Quantity Surveying and Building/Construction Management.
Murray and Roberts Learnership Requirements.
To be selected for this Learnership, there are some Minimum Eligibility criteria that at least one should possess.
- Must be a B Eng, BSc and B Tech graduate with a strong academic record.
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Matric / N3 or N4 Technical course / Trade-tested Artisan When requested.
- Valid N2 Certificate which includes the following subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing and/or Plating & Structural Steel, Platers Trade theory wHen Requested.
Company skills and competencies successful candidate must meet:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
- Have no more than two years of full-time work experience since graduating
- Be prepared to work in any area of the country where your skills are needed.
- Participation in extramural activities, achievement and leadership ability will also be considered when making a decision.
- Must be medically fit for underground work
- Must not have a criminal record
- Must not be directly or indirectly employed or involved in any other business while employed by Murray and Roberts
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Computer literate

Murray and Roberts Learnership Stipend.
Successful candidates will be paid a monthly allowance in the form of a stipend Which is meant to cover costs like travel and food. This Learnership Stipend will be paid for the whole period of the learnership programme on a term of a monthly basis.

The application closing date varies, so the Closing and Open dates are available on the announcement of the respective advertised positions. Normally Learnerships applications open from the start of the year and close from April or June each year.
