Umuzi Learnership: Umuzi works with top employers to support young people to access high-value tech and creative careers since youth unemployment is one of the biggest challenges facing South Africa. Since 2014, Umuzi has been building an alternative to higher education: a 12-month, paid training programme, that’s demand-driven, project-based, Agile, and human-centred.
The first 9 months would be spent doing Umuzi on-the-job training while the remaining 3 months would be spent in the partner media house or creative agency. It is expected that the end result after completing the learnership is an entry-level professional with high-calibre skills.
Umuzi Learnership Programmes have different departments that candidates may join consist Multimedia, Graphic Design, Traffic Management, Digital Marketing, or Copywriting.
