South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is a government agency that aims to regulate and control the distribution of social grants. SASSA Learnership Requirements
The basic requirements interested candidates should meet to ensure that they are being selected for the program are as follows:
- A valid Grade 12 / Martic certificate Qualification.
- A diploma or degree in the relevant field (where applicable).
- A South African citizen with valid work and possess an Identity Card.
- If they have already completed a higher degree, they must continue their education in South Africa at an accredited university.
- They have to be within the age range of productive people who require Experiential Education.
- Evidence of residency.
- They must not be planning to enroll in any full-time courses during the learnership program and must be unemployed.

SASSA Learnership Closing Date
Application closing date is provided and shown in the relevant adverts when the opportunity is released. SASSA leadership usually closes during September, this date may change. Applicants are reminded to ensure that they submit their application early the better. SASSA will not tolerate any late application.
SASSA Learnership Stipend
Successful candidates will receive a minimum amount as the Learnership Stipend covers expenses like travel and meals.
