Foskor is a leading company that makes granular fertilizers, which provide nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium for other companies’ products called NPKs. The company produces phosphoric and sulphuric acids and magnetite, which are used to make products locally and sold abroad. The Foskor mines phosphate rock and produce phosphoric acid and phosphate-based fertilizers. Phoskor mines and beneficiates phosphate rock in South Africa’s Limpopo Province. The phosphate rock is then transported by rail to the production facility in Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal.
Foskor Learnership is a program that looks for individuals with the talent to fully use their potential to create their professional path for their career journey in the mining sector or industry. The Learnership Programme includes training in specific disciplines, like plant and engineering. Engineering Learnerships are accredited through the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). This training will help you become an artisan in trades such as Electrical; Fitting & Turning and Boilermaking. Plant and Metallurgical Learnerships are accredited through the Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) and the Mining Qualifications Authority.
