EMPD Learnership
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) is a department responsible for crime prevention, traffic law enforcement, bylaw enforcement and licensing services in the City of Ekurhuleni. This department is divided into three internal divisions with quite different responsibilities to respond to crimes operation &specialised Division, compliance division and auxiliary Division.
The EMPD Learnership is committed to uplifting and improving the community through the education and training sector. EMPD Learnership is looking for talented people within the Community who would like to join to become independent and proud members who aim to reach far professionally through their own efforts within themselves. This training requires you to complete theory as well as practical training under the guidance of EMPD Mentors.
EMPD Learnership Requirements
Only Ideal candidates with the following qualification criteria will be shortlisted.
- Candidate with a Certified RSA Identity document.
- Candidate with Certified Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
- Candidate with a certified at least a Code B Valid driver’s license.
- The candidate must have a clean criminal record or illegal activity recorded.
- The candidate must be Proficient in the English Language.
- The candidate Must be healthy, physically fit and of a stable mental condition
- The candidate must be a South African Citizen with residence and affidavit proof.

EMPD Learnership Stipend
This learnership pays a monthly stipend for successful candidates for meals as well as travel expenses. EMPD does not provide accommodations and that is the reason why they accept candidates who come from the respective municipality
