Edcon Learnership is an opportunity offered to smart and talented candidates who want to grow and develop their skills and knowledge in the retail sector. Fields operating in the fashion and retail industry include the following and more: Planner, Buyer, Manager, Finance, Supply Chain, Garment Construction, Textile Buyer, Statistics, Procurement, and Retail Manager. Learnership programs usually run over 18 months, whereby candidates will learn how a particular task is done in the retail industry.
Edcon Learnership Requirements
To apply for this program candidate must have the essential minimum requirements including the following:
- Matric or Grade 12 certificate Qualification or equivalent.
- Diploma or degree certificate qualification or equivalent in the relevant field of application.
- Prior experience in the retail and fashion industry will be advantageous.
- Must be South African citizens with a legal ID document.

Edcon Learnership Closing Date
Learnerships at Edcon are only available during certain times of the year usually closing at the beginning or the end of September every year. Ideal candidates can download an application form and apply once it is opened However you have to make sure you apply in time as soon as they open.
Edcon Learnership Stipend
When a successful candidate registers for this Learnership, the candidate will receive a monthly stipend to help them to cover certain expenses such as transportation, meals, and stationery for the entire while they undergo the program
