Right to Care is one of South Africa’s leading healthcare organizations. Founded in 2001 as a result of the public healthcare emergency caused by HIV/AIDS in South Africa and the urgent need to provide medicine and care to the public sector’s HIV/AIDS patients, Right to Care became one of the first organizations in South Africa to provide HIV treatment to public patients. Right to Care’s strong track record of service delivery, quality patient care, and innovative services in South Africa quickly gained international attention from funders and partners.
Right to Care Learnership is a Programme that is looking for a dynamic and energic candidate to join the Right to Care team. The Programme is an excellent option for anyone who wants to gain a better insight into this career field before jumping into the fast-paced job market. During the Learnership, students will be tested through a combination of theory assessments and practical work sessions with the assistance of experienced professionals. Attend the required training interventions and complete the competency assessments then Submit a portfolio of evidence.
Right-to-Care Learnership Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership position candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric/ NQF Qualification certificate or equavalent.
- A diploma or degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
- Basic Computer skill level in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills(Written and Verbal).
- A valid Drivers License will be added an advantage.
- South African citizens in possession of a valid South African ID.
- Clear credit and neat criminal record.
- Candidate with Aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Currently unemployed and not participating in a learnership.
- Must reside and be able to travel to the workplace and training provider in Gauteng.

Right to Care Learnership Stipend
Successful candidates will receive a minimum amount as the Learnership Stipend covers expenses like travel and meals. This means the candidate will be paid monthly while you are on the entire learnership. For this case, Learners will also be paid a monthly stipend of R3 000 to assist them in completing the program. Learners must be able to attend formal training and will be responsible for their transport arrangements and costs.
