East Coast Radio or ECR is a commercial South African radio station with an audience of over one million listeners, its owned by the Kagiso Media Group Kagiso Media which was founded in 1997 by the Kagiso Trust Investments. At the time, it was the owner of some of the most popular media companies in the world. It’s the number one KwaZulu-Natal hit music station, Keep up with the latest podcasts, news, traffic, entertainment, lifestyle, and more. the main mission is to continuously deliver innovative media and information solutions that facilitate beneficial human connection.

East Coast Radio Internship are looking for competent and passionate candidates to apply for 12 monthly programmes to develop their skills and knowledge about how work is done practically at the workplace. Through this programme, candidates will be exposed to work surfaces where they can use their full potential to grow their future professionals efficiently and effectively.

East Coast Radio Internship Requirements

To be considered for any programme candidate must meet the following minimum requirements

Grade 12/matric certificate qualification or equivalent.
Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent field.
Relevant Diploma/Degree certificate or any field equivalent.
A valid Drivers’ Licence will be advantageous.
Computer literacy will add an advantage.

Other Skills & Behavioural Attributes

Solid administration and organisation skills.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within the organisation.
Excellent time, Project management and planning skills.

East Coast Radio Internship Stipend

A basic monthly stipend will be offered to all successful candidates for the entire programme. The amount paid will cover the candidate’s daily expenses including Meal and travel costs.
