NYDA Learnership Programme
The NYDA is a South African-based agency established primarily to address challenges faced by the nation’s youth. The Agency was established by an Act of Parliament (Act 54 of 2008). The institution was a single, unitary structure addressing youth development issues at the National, Provincial and Local Government levels. The Agency should be seen within the broad context of South Africa’s development dynamics. Its mission is to be a credible, capable and activist development agency that is responsive to the plight of South Africa’s youth.
NYDA Learnership is a response to addressing one of the massive challenges to South African youth of unemployment. The talented youth of South Africa can gain hands-on knowledge in their field of study. NYDA learnership aims to develop job stability, lessen poverty, take away inequality and provide sustainable employment by identifying problems and offering long-term solutions to challenges faced by the youth of South Africa.
